Privacy Policy

Last updated September 1, 2026.

1. The short version

Prediction Fantasy LLC ("we") runs predictionfantasy.net and the lineup optimizer. This policy explains what we collect and why.

WE RUN NO ANALYTICS, NO TRACKING PIXELS AND NO ADVERTISING COOKIES. WE DO NOT SELL OR RENT YOUR INFORMATION. WE DO NOT OPERATE USER ACCOUNTS, SO THERE IS NO PASSWORD OF YOURS FOR US TO LOSE. THE SLATE FILES YOU UPLOAD TO THE OPTIMIZER ARE PROCESSED IN MEMORY AND ARE NEVER SAVED.

If you only read the articles, you never give us anything at all. The rest of this document covers the few cases where you do.

2. What we collect, and when

Reading the site. Our hosts — Vercel for the website, Render for the optimizer — keep ordinary server logs containing IP addresses, browser user-agent strings and request times. Every web host does this; it is how outages and abuse get diagnosed. We do not combine those logs with anything else or use them to build a profile of you.

Joining the waitlist. We collect the email address you type, and nothing else. It goes to Resend, which stores it so we can email you at launch. We also write one line to our own server log noting which page the signup came from.

Subscribing. Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address and card details, and tells us your email, which plan you bought, and whether payment succeeded. Your full card number never passes through our servers and we could not retrieve it if we wanted to.

Joining the Discord. The private community is a Discord server. Your Discord account, your messages and your membership are held by Discord under Discord's privacy policy, not this one. We can see what any member of that server can see.

Using the optimizer. When you upload a slate CSV it is parsed in memory to build the player pool, and the lineups you generate are held in memory only until your browser collects them or the service restarts. Nothing you upload is written to disk, placed in a database, or used for anything other than answering that request.

Emailing us. If you write to us we keep your message and address, so we can reply and keep a record of what was agreed.

3. Why we use it

Only to do what you asked for and to keep the service working:

  • to give you the access you paid for, and to take payment for it
  • to email you at launch if you joined the waitlist, and to send billing and service messages
  • to answer your questions and handle refunds and disputes
  • to keep the service running, diagnose faults, and prevent fraud and abuse
  • to meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising and we do not profile you.

4. Who else handles it

We use a small number of providers, each handling only what it needs. They process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes:

  • Stripe — payments, billing and subscription management
  • Resend — waitlist and service email
  • Vercel — hosting for the website
  • Render — hosting for the optimizer
  • Discord — the private community

We also read game odds from a third-party odds provider to show totals in the optimizer. That request is made by our server and carries no information about you.

Otherwise we share your information only where the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if the business is sold or transferred — in which case the buyer would be bound by this policy or would have to tell you before anything changed. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and loads no advertising or social tracking scripts. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages, which are needed for payment and fraud prevention, and Discord does the same on Discord. Those are governed by their policies rather than this one.

6. How long we keep things

  • Uploaded slates and generated lineups: not retained at all — they exist only in memory while you use the optimizer
  • Server logs: only as long as our hosts keep them in the ordinary course, typically weeks
  • Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed
  • Subscription and payment records: while you are a customer, then for as long as tax and accounting rules require
  • Emails you send us: until they are no longer needed for the matter they concern

7. Your choices and your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email predictionfantasysports2026@gmail.com and we will handle it. Depending on where you live you may have these rights by law; we offer them to everyone regardless.

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing applies to all marketing. We will still send messages about your subscription — receipts, renewal notices, service problems — because those are part of the service rather than marketing.

Deleting your information means we can no longer provide a paid subscription, so a deletion request usually means cancelling it. We may keep the minimum needed for tax records and fraud prevention.

8. Security

The site and the optimizer are served over HTTPS, and payment details go straight to Stripe without touching our servers. We deliberately hold very little, which is the most dependable protection available to a business this size: what is never collected cannot leak.

No service can promise perfect security. If we discover a breach affecting your information we will tell you, and any regulator we are required to notify, without unnecessary delay.

9. Children

The Services are for adults aged 18 or over and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

10. Where your information is held

We operate from the United States and our providers store information on servers there. If you use the Services from elsewhere, you are sending your information to the United States, where privacy law may differ from your own.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant we will say so on the site and, where we have your address, email you before it takes effect.

12. Contact
